What this site is
TAO Daily sells dietary supplements, and we write about the research behind their ingredients. The Evidence library and the Help articles are general education, written from published sources that we name and link.
They are not medical advice. They are not a diagnosis, and they are not a treatment plan. Nothing on this site is a substitute for the judgment of a physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional who knows your history.
Before you take a supplement
Talk to a healthcare professional first, especially if you:
- are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or nursing
- have a medical condition, including reduced kidney function
- take prescription medication
- are giving a supplement to anyone under 18
About medications
Some medications interact with magnesium, in more than one way. We wrote about that at length, but nothing we write is a reason to change, stop or reschedule a prescription. That conversation belongs with your prescriber or pharmacist, who can see your full medication list.
About the research we cite
We link primary sources โ government agencies, peer-reviewed journals, and drug labels โ and we say plainly where the evidence is thin or where it does not favor us. Research changes. We update our pages when it does, and each one carries the date it was last reviewed.
Individual results vary. Nutrition research describes groups of people, not you specifically.
If you think you're having a reaction
